Testing Double Glazed Windows Security

How secure are UPVC windows? That's a question that is often asked and it’s difficult to quantify without specific testing. The video below shows one of our UPVC windows and door in an accredited test laboratory. The actual test certificate cost about £10,000 but we get the test for free but we have no certification to prove our double glazed windows performance. The test engineer did comment though that our windows were amongst the most secure he had tested.

One aspect that is often overlooked is a PVCU windows weather rating and our windows have been thoroughly tested in this respect and we have supplied our windows to Africa (Congo), Norway, Jamaica, France and Japan and have never failed in weathering performance.
